Terms of Service

By creating a TapCharm account, activating a charm, or otherwise using our service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use TapCharm.

TapCharm is a digital profile service paired with a physical NFC charm. Tapping the charm against a compatible phone opens your TapCharm profile in the visitor's browser, no app required. You can add links, contact details, and other information to that profile, and manage it from your dashboard.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to create a TapCharm account. By creating an account, you're confirming that this is true.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has access to it. The information you give us when creating and maintaining your account should be accurate, we rely on it to activate your charm and keep your profile working.

Each physical charm is tied to a unique ID that links it to one profile at a time. Charms are currently sold in person at our onsite booth; we don't process online charm purchases through this site. If your charm is lost, damaged, or stops working, contact us and we'll help sort it out.

When using TapCharm, please don't:

• Impersonate someone else, or create a profile intended to mislead visitors about who you are.
• Post illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
• Use the "Connect" form on other people's profiles to spam them.
• Try to access another user's account, scrape the site at scale, or interfere with how it runs.
• Reverse-engineer, tamper with, or attempt to reprogram a charm you don't own.

If you come across a profile that breaks these rules, use the report option on that profile so our team can review it.

You own the content you add to your profile. By posting it, you give TapCharm the license we need to host, store, and display it as part of running your public profile page, nothing more. You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to anything you post.

When a visitor shares their details through your profile, that information is yours to use, but you're responsible for using it appropriately: reach out the way you'd want to be reached out to, and follow applicable privacy laws when you store or act on it.

We work to keep TapCharm reliable, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may update, change, or discontinue features over time, and we'll try to give notice for anything that meaningfully affects you.

Charm purchases currently happen in person at our booth, and are subject to the terms communicated to you at the time of purchase. This section will be updated if and when we introduce online sales.

You can deactivate your account any time from Settings. We may suspend or deactivate accounts that violate these Terms, are reported and confirmed to break our rules, or that put the platform or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we'll let you know why.

TapCharm is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TapCharm and its team aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including from content or leads shared through your profile.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms as TapCharm grows. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and do our best to let you know.
